Workshop Facilitator: Dr. Melissa Schecter

This workshop is centered on the limitations of reproductive access with a focus on differences in state level access. We will cover the accessibility of contraception, abortion, and women’s health services nationwide. This will be led by Dr. Melissa Schecter, a third year obstetrics and gynecology resident at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies. She earned her medical degree from Tel Aviv University in Israel and plans to apply to a family planning fellowship after completing her OB/GYN residency. In her free time, she serves the local Planned Parenthood clinic and provides access to reproductive care. Her enthusiastic charisma enables her to foster meaningful relationships in the Orlando area.
