Workshop Facilitator: Dr. Sanjana Mathur

This workshop focuses on misinformation and hesitancy around the COVID-19 vaccine, and its impacts on global health. Dr. Sanjana Mathur will discuss how ethical frameworks influence decisions and how to use social media as a tool to combat vaccine hesitancy. After practicing as a surgeon in Trinidad, she is now a pediatric resident at CHKD Hospital in Norfolk, VA. She is passionate about health disparities, particularly in children’s rights, human trafficking, and refugee health.
